Getting started

Getting started at Aniprev: setting up your workspace.

The first step is to create one or more buildings, to which silos and plots can subsequently be linked. To do this, select the ‘Buildings’ module from the menu on the left, then click on the ‘+’ icon at the top right of the page. Fill in the building’s description fields. Save.  


To create a batch, select the ‘Batches’ module from the left-hand menu, then click on the ‘+’ icon at the top right of the page. Fill in the batch description fields.

Specific fields:

Date of birth: choose whether to count the date of birth as day 0 or day 1 when calculating the age of the animals in the batch.

Buildings: assign the batch to one of the buildings created previously.

Breed: if the options provided are not suitable, contact your administrator.

Group: only if the batch falls within the scope of one of the groups provided.

Technicians and employees: assign the technicians and/or employees (note the difference between a technician and an employee) who will be able to access the batch data.

Vets: assign one or more vets, specifying each one’s status (attending vet / health vet / locum).

Save. Once created, the batches appear in the left-hand menu and can be accessed directly by clicking on them. apparaissent dans le menu de gauche et l’on peut y accéder directement en cliquant dessus. 


To create a silo, select the ‘My silos’ module from the left-hand menu, then click on the ‘+’ icon at the top right of the page. Fill in the three fields describing the silo and assign it to one or more buildings by ticking the relevant boxes. Save.

Employees will only have access to technical batch data, not financial data. To create an Aniprev account for an employee who does not yet have one, select the ‘Employees’ module from the left-hand menu, then click on the ‘+’ icon at the top right of the page. Fill in the employee’s details and choose a username and password for them. Confirm.
